Talia Meeting, 20 June 2007
Agenda:
- Daniel: Report ESWC07
- Daniel/Michele B.: Report Bergen workshop
- Michele N.: Report Authentication/Authorization/OpenId
- Luca G.: Report storage backend
Important these may be more urgent than discussiong RDF
- At this point we need to define some (hopefully enough detailed) use cases for the backend
- It is totally unclear how the sources will be used remotely (cross federation nodes) specially
- How will they be searched
- How will they be linked
- How the IDs will be organized? (will we have centralized resover?)
- Will we need to store the remote ids locally (e.g. to build the relations between local and remote objects?)
- Refresher on RDF and ActiveRDF
- Discussion on RDF store usage
- Work structure, future meetings etc.
To have a more effective meeting it would be nice to reduce the length of the reports and make more space for the issues above
Results
- Daniel will put the current versions of the HyperNietzsche use cases online, both as xmi and pdf/picture
- Daniel will check with Julio about the user interface
- Idea: Use a navigation tree
- Idea: Faceted search
- Idea: Check other software, e.g. Readers etc.
- We will use ActiveRDF to access the relations
- Check with Hyper 0 group and establish better communication
- Write specifications and check work distribution
- We will support the Hyper structural ontology, FOAF for people and DublinCore? for documents
- Scheduling will be done with Daniels tool
- We will try Campfire for internal communication
