List of possible relation types
- Step-of-path - An odered relation between a path and other related sources (TaliaPath)
- Part-of-whole - indicating that some sources represents a specific part of another source

- References - A relation which indicates that the scientific content in the sources refers to other sources
- Authorship - One source represents the author of another source
- Topic-of (Categories) - A source can be part of a topic or a category
- Metadata - Source may contain metadata for other sources (e.g. bibliographical information, statistics, status, etc)
- Representation-of - A source may be a representation of another source (e.g. a facsimile of a book)
- Equivalence - A source is equal to another source
